Change at Last!

It was a very stormy night here, resulting in cancelled soccer games, but bringing us what appears to be our promised FALL weather at last! Finally can turn off the AC, open the windows and according to forecast, we actually may get chilly later this week overnight ~ how nice would that be!

Sunday is the day that etsyBEAD announces its EBTW (theme of the week) which I actually got to select for this week (Sept. 9 ~ 15): "Dressed Up Denim". So, that means new items from me are now "on special" this week only to celebrate this theme ~ if you've had your eye on any of these, this is the week to buy them on sale!

Is It FALL Yet?

Now I know the calendar says September but another week of temperatures soaring and ozone alerts makes me wonder if fall will ever really arrive. The forecasters are saying a change is coming this weekend and I think we all are more than ready for cooler days and nights. I know my "creative juices" are heading that direction ~ finished this new necklace yesterday ~ definitely thinking of FALL!

What is EBTW?..............New Pics from Hannah

You might have seen EBTW in the shop as a "section" or in some of the listings....so, what is it??? First, it means SALE!!! Good thing, right? That's because it means "etsyBead Theme of the Week" -- each week the etsyBead group selects a theme and we design jewelry specifically for it and/or list items that already fit the theme -- all at sale prices for that ONE WEEK ONLY!

This week the EBTW is a great one - "Back in Neutral" - and some of my favorite pieces are included ~ at sale prices for one week only, of course! Check them out! If they've been some of your favorites, too, this might be the week for you!

Isn't it a GREAT WEEKEND?

Wow ~ what a great weekend! The weather is awesome -- especially for the holiday weekend, too! And of course, we must mention the most-excellent win yesterday (and what happened up-north?? -- my, my -- bye, bye #5!!). Hope you all are going to enjoy the day(s) with family and friends...Hannah and Dad are heading out for a bike trek along their favorite path ~ leaving me some time to "play with the beads" as they say. Looking forward to an "annual" family cookout "at the farm" tomorrow -- saying farewell to summer at least according to the calendar although the weather will still give us plenty of warm days still.

~LABOR DAY WEEKEND SPECIALS in the shop! Check them out - good through midnight tomorrow!

GAME DAY ~ SO, how to watch it????

Finally, it's GAME DAY! And unless you are one of the lucky 80,000+ heading to the "shoe" today, then you are scrambling to find a way to actually watch the game on television if you live anywhere in Central Ohio...don't get me started! Anyway, just found a site that supposedly provides streaming download media to your website so I'm giving it a try -- MAYBE there will be a Buckeye game here later! How cool would that be! Keep your fingers crossed and check back later! ....game video update~ok, not looking so good so far...I've got video and sound but I'm thinking you really don't want to watch Canadian fishing....no offense to any Canadians (one of my best friends lives in Toronto -- smiles!), but I was really trying to connect with the Buckeye game...still going to keep trying but it's looking more and more like a radio day!
~so...radio it is...got some great tennis match happening on the webcast (!) but hey, Bucks just scored! Here we go!!

~Of course, you can always still celebrate with SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS just in honor of a great opening day win! Check it out -- big savings! GO BUCKS!
